CalPERS Health Care Priorities

Health care should be affordable for all Americans. We need to find innovative proposals to constrain costs, increase value, and improve quality and efficiency in the health care system. We need to control the high cost of prescription drugs. CalPERS recently sent a
letter to Congress telling them that we stand ready to help in the health care reform effort. A more efficient national health care policy will result in savings to employer plans, including the CalPERS health system.
