We expect conversations to follow the conventions of polite discourse. There is no requirement to support what CalPERS does or to agree with everything someone says. However, we will monitor all interactions and delete comments that:
- contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups
- are far off-topic (unrelated to CalPERS business, benefits, or topics)
- make unsupported accusations.
Be sure to protect your privacy; do not include any confidential information in any comments or discussions. For questions related to member benefits or account information,

We don’t edit comments to remove objectionable content, so please ensure that your comments contain none of the above. Otherwise, your comment will be deleted.
Media representatives interested in information about CalPERS or obtaining interviews with CalPERS staff should email
pressroom@calpers.ca.gov through their normal channels and to refrain from submitting questions here as comments.
